A print and packaging manufacturing plant relies on a precise, multi-step chain: raw materials (sheets, rolls, laminates) must be ordered and inspected; each client order must be split into specialized manufacturing instructions across plate making, flexo printing, lamination, punching, pasting, and cutting machines; and finished units must be packed, dispatched, and invoiced. Prior to this CRM, the entire plant relied on handwritten job cards, loose paper PO slips, and chaotic phone calls between the front office and floor machine operators. This led to frequent scheduling bottlenecks, untracked paper waste and material shortages, lost jobs on the shop floor, workers skipping required quality checkpoints, and tedious manual accounting to calculate GST and email proforma invoices to clients.
Vision architected and deployed a role-governed internal production ERP and shop-floor workflow platform powered by PHP CodeIgniter 3.1 and MySQL. The system bridges front-office procurement with factory operations: approved Purchase Orders dynamically convert into numbered Jobs with strict stock allocation limits; an intelligent stage sequencer routes jobs one active station at a time to dedicated worker dashboards; floor operators log material consumption and final sheet waste counts before closing a stage; and office administrators generate print-ready Dompdf purchase orders and GST proforma invoices, dispatching them directly to vendor and customer WhatsApp numbers via an integrated QR session service.
